“Very Busy” Apparently Means Forgetting the Pizza Exists
Terrible experience from start to finish.
First off, the website is brutal to order from. It constantly pushes you to spend more money to “qualify” for delivery, despite already charging a delivery fee. I changed my order multiple times trying to satisfy the website’s demands, which ultimately resulted in the wrong version of my order making the final cut.
The site estimated:
* 20 minutes to prepare
* 20 minutes to deliver
Reality?
1 hour and 23 minutes from order to arrival… for a restaurant that’s literally a 7-minute drive from my house.
After waiting 50 minutes, I called for an update. The woman on the phone was rude to both me and my wife, repeatedly interrupting us with:
“Very busy, very busy. Driver is busy.”
I called again later and got the exact same response.
Then the driver finally arrived with pizzas that were stone cold, sweaty, and rubbery. The cardboard box honestly had more flavour and texture than the pizza itself.
Here’s the funniest part:
The driver (who was actually a SkipTheDishes driver) told me he wasn’t busy at all and had only delivered two pizzas all night. He even laughed when I told him the restaurant had been claiming for the last 30+ minutes that the pizza was “already on the way.”
So now I’m left wondering:
Why push customers to order directly through your own delivery system if you’re just farming deliveries out to third-party drivers anyway?
When I called the store a THIRD time after finally receiving the cold pizzas, there was still:
* no apology
* no explanation
* no accountability
* no attempt to make it right
At this point, the only logical explanations are:
1. The pizza went on a sightseeing tour of Medicine Hat before reaching my house, or
2. Someone forgot it sitting on a counter until they suddenly remembered it existed.
Either way, being repeatedly told “it’s on the way” while serving cold pizza over an hour later is unacceptable.
The driver was the only pleasant part of the entire experience. The restaurant itself was disorganized, misleading, and completely dismissive of customer service.

Delivery person doesnt speak english at all, despite calling me twice to try to figure out where AN APARTMENT BUILDING Was. was 15 minutes late. Didnt even deliver my pizza. Had to walk to meet her on the sidewalk. Worst place ever. If I could rate it less than 1 star I would have. Pizza was cold, drinks warm. Dont waste your money with these dumbass immigrants, I know I sure as hell wont. Plenty of way better places in town to get pizza that are smart enough to type an address into a GPS and actually will deliver the food to you when you spend 50 dollars.

I used to always owe the jumbo donair from mh pizza over the years, and the jumbo was so big. What I got the other night was smaller than an average donair from anywhere else. The garlic sauce was just canned garlic and some sauce. Just tasted very cheap. The donair meat was really good, but that was about it. Then the pizza. I got the box and It didnt even feel like there was anything in it. Very light and barely any toppings on it. I even paid for extra black olives and got maybe a light sprinkle of them. I took one bite and gave the rest to my roommate. Very sad and underwhelming pizza. And every single time I’ve tried to order the beef samosas they are always out of them. This has been an issue every single time I order from there. I’ve maybe had them twice in years I’ve been ordering. If there’s new management, it shows. I won’t be ordering again.

This is the first time we have tried this place. It was good I thought there would be more meat on the all meat pizza but it was good.

Service was great. Pizza and sauce was decent for this style of pizza. I'm forever in the hunt for a decent deep dish topping style which this was not. I ordered because of the reviews. Was hoping for thicker toppings (willing to pay). That is not a negative against what we received, it was decent just was expecting a bit different based on reviews. Overall, good pizza, happy with service and product purchased.

The Pizza was very good and so was the cheese bread. I wasn’t very happy that I had ordered chicken wings and then got a call saying they had run out..I’m hoping they will delivered for supper tonight..

Although the pizza was great, they gave us the wrong order, didn’t realize it till we got home(out of towners) was not worth driving back in to return and get the proper pizza.

We had the 16" House Special for 5 of us and it was so filling and delicious. Even a couple of pieces leftover for breakfast. Loved it!!!
